The Lathitha Marimba Band was founded in 2011 as the very first offering of Lathitha Njalo Productions. What began as a small ensemble of passionate musicians quickly grew into a dynamic performing group that brought the warm, rhythmic sounds of African marimbas to audiences across the Eastern Cape and beyond.

From its earliest performances, the band became known for its energetic stage presence, rich harmonies, and ability to blend traditional African rhythms with contemporary influences.
